Adaptive Enemy
As a cooperative game, the Invader Army is not controlled by any player! Rather, the Invader Army operates itself using the algorithmic Order system. During the start of each round of play, the Invaders' plans are revealed. After the players have taken their actions, the Invaders execute either their Alpha, Beta, or Omega orders. Leading each army are the Invader Commanders, titanic mechs that act as the capstone of each Army. Like the players, Commanders also have the ability to upgrade themselves, as well as the armies they field. In addition, each Army is also unique! Over 10 different armies are available play, each requiring a different strategy to take on. Some armies may prefer a close up brawl, while others may shell you from range. |
Endless Replayability
Over a thousand different mission combinations are possible in Crash Command! The mech you are piloting, the locale you are defending, and the Invader Army you are fighting against can all be swapped out. Create a mission with your favorite matchups, a stiff challenge, or your worst nightmare. |
In the distant future, humanity has spread out across the stars.
Their expansion is driven forward by the mass-production of the miracle matter, cystite, a super light and condensed energy source. Within decades of it's discovery, cystite quickly becomes the currency of power. Planet-wide cystite factories become a symbol of status, as larger corporations claim more and more land for cystite refinement. But as land becomes limited and the number of hospitable planets dwindle, corporations have begun toresort to more... direct methods of increasing their worth. You are a mercenary, the leading pilot of your own freelance squad. The contract you've accepted is one commonly issued by smaller companies: defend their installation from hostile takeover. Along with up two three other mercenaries, it's your job to hold off the invading forces, and maybe make a buck or two along the way. |
What is Crash Command?
Crash Command is a 2-4 player, cooperative, strategy game with light programming. Players tasked with defending an location from the Invader Armies, who are aiming to seize it. To complete this mission, players pilot mechs, each with their own unique playstyle and role. As the game progresses, Players can customize and improve their mech with credits earned from defeated enemies. At a certain point during each game, the Invading Army's Commanding Officer lands, a massive mech that functions as the keystone of the army. Only by defeating the Invader Commanding Officer can the players halt the Invader Army's advance and complete their contract. |
